It's been a minute..
First things first, Happy Labor Day Everyone.
I've decided to get back on the "writing for the page" grind, as well as give my website a bit of a revamp. A lot has happened in the past year and a half:
I've completed college
I've been doing more stand up and have started producing live shows.
I've completed the script and development of an animated pilot and made a few test scenes for it. It's called grunts (more on that at a later date).
I've started a new job
I've done some hiking... a lot of hiking
Made some live sketches with some friends
Resumed painting and wood carving
Sold all of my shares of Palantir (like a fucking idiot)
and started planning for the coming apocalypse!
Everyday has been a ride since I entered adulthood and the real-world. "Figuring it out" has been equal parts terrific and terrifying so I really haven't had a chance to be bored.
In accordance with that fact, I have more stuff I am working on:
I've decided to start a podcast (a real one this time) called
On The Watchlist w/ Jay Servedio and the first episode will be dropping later in September.
I've taken up a Substack (which you can check out here ) called Tome of a Ramblin' Mind. I'll be posting my thoughts on current events (as well as some stories) so feel free to check that out, and the stories I'll be uploading here too. First Post will be out on 9/11
I will be bringing back The Bar Between Dimensions and The Valley and writing new ones as well. I'll be kicking off spooky season with a new story that will be available on October 1st.
I've made some heavy progress on a mini series I'm writing with a friend of mine named Ben Brown, and we plan to shoot a pilot for that as well.
More stuff will trickle into my calendar and onto your feeds but I think that'll suffice for now. This is just to let you all know I, and this website, are both alive and well and I plan on being very busy this fall.
In the mean time, keep your eyes peeled for my reels and posts, buy gold, ammunition and a water purifier, and have fun!
Here is to making more stuff, I suppose.
best,
Jay
